Lisa Jackson Camiseta Cerezo Osaka has completed over 100 marathons. however she swears she’s not a natural athlete. Hmmm? Nope. She shows up at every race to have FUN. as well as that mindset towards running has kept her going for 100s of marathons, half marathons as well as even an ultra marathon!

Her running accomplishments alone make me want to chat with her for hours on end. But, before I understood what an accomplished runner she was I satisfied her in a press group when I ran the Jerusalem Marathon. as well as she promptly ended up being my preferred person. She is super friendly as well as adorable as well as just made me feel like we were old good friends right away.

Then, I got to speaking to her more as well as discovered she was extremely close to running her 100th marathon!! Amazing.

Oh, as well as she’s sharing tales from her millions of miles in a book! Lisa is the author of  “Your speed or Mine? What Running Taught Me about Life laughter as well as Coming in Last”. She has tons of stories since most races she runs along speaking to people as well as making friends.

We’ve kept in touch since we satisfied as well as she was the very first person I wished to interview for the RER podcast.

Oh, I should mention – she lives in London as well as is originally from South Africa so she has a super adorable accent too.

Lisa as well as I chat about…

How she got started running – she swears she hated running as a kid.

Her preferred race – that’s something special since she’s done so many!

What it’s like to Camiseta UNAM Pumas surface LAST in a race – a number of times.

What is her ‘victory lap’ – preferred post-race meal.

And more!

Get her book “Your speed or Mine? What Running Taught Me about Life laughter as well as Coming in Last” on Amazon here.

If you get it we can chat about it like a lil running book club!

Question: have you ever completed LAST in a race? ever stayed up until the last person came across the surface line?
